The disses are real! Peter Weber and Madison Prewett went from head over heels in love on season 24 of The Bachelor to exchanging shady jabs at each other since their split.
The leading man got engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss during the finale in Australia. They broke up a month later because he still had feelings for runner-up Madison, and the two briefly rekindled their romance after filming wrapped. Although the reality couple revealed they were taking things “one day at a time” on After the Final Rose on March 10, they announced they “mutually” went their separate ways for good three days later.
On March 25, Peter was seen with contestant Kelley Flanagan in her hometown of Chicago. The stud has been quarantining amid the coronavirus pandemic with her and Bachelor Nation alum Dustin Kendrick. The reality pair announced they are officially dating in April and are completely smitten over each other. They even teased their plans to move to New York City together later this year during an interview in July.

Madi claimed on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s “Off the Vine” podcast on April 21 that Peter reached out to rekindle their relationship days before he was spotted in Chicago with Kelley. “He was, like, calling me and texting me being like, ‘I miss you, let’s get back together,’” Madi dished. “You were telling me how much you loved me and wanted to get back together and now you’re with the one person that was my best friend … It just feels a little hurtful.”

Peter publicly slammed the claims Madison made during her appearance on Kaitlyn’s podcast. “You’d think you’d have a little more respect for the situation given we both know there’s more to the story,” the pilot wrote while tagging Madi on Bachelor Nation Scoop’s podcast.

Although Madi said to Kaitlyn she wished she would have been “apologetic” to Peter’s mom, Barbara Weber, during their explosive encounter on After the Final Rose, she pointed out that the tense situation set them up for failure.
“For that opportunity to kind of be taken from the both of us … for that to be the ending of the season, I mean I walked off that stage and I had never cried harder in my life,” she said.

Madison said she and Kelley were “best friends” during and after filming The Bachelor, which made the situation between the lawyer and Peter sting even more.
“With just things that we had talked about and things that she had said to me about Peter — and about me and Peter and about her and Peter — and all that. It was really confusing to me when I saw all that, and I don’t know, that I didn’t receive any kind of like a heads up or any sort of, you know, a text or explanation of why,” Madi told Kaitlyn.

Now that Peter is happily dating Kelley, he wanted to set the record straight on what *really* went down with Madi following the finale.
“To be straight up … we didn’t even get in a relationship again,” he told Entertainment Tonight in July. “I know they say, ‘Oh it’s 24 or 48 hours. That was the shortest relationship ever!’ We never committed to a relationship.” He added, “I think some people think that we got back together. We never were back together.”
